I provide continuing education (CE) courses to massage therapists. Home study courses are NCBTMB, AL & FL approved (SOME are MS approved). All in-class workshops are NCBTMB and MS, AL, and FL state approved. AIS UPPER BODY:
AIS for the Upper Body is a 2-day course, for a total of 12 CE hours - Cost is $225 plus $35 for the textbook (Active Isolated Stretching by Aaron Mattes) - Classes will be held on the following dates:
Mon & Tues 8/30 and 8/31 from 10:00-5:00 both days - Germantown/Collierville area of Memphis
Sun & Mon 10/26 and 10/27 from 10:00-5:00 both days - Rejuvenate Spa, Oxford, MS
Learn Active Isolated Stretches for the upper body; stretches to do yourself as well as assisted with clients. Text book used is Active Isolated Stretching by Aaron Mattes and the cost is $35.
AIS LOWER BODY:
AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) for the Lower Body is a 2-day workshop, for a total of 12 CE hours - Cost is $225 plus $35 for the textbook (Active Isolated Stretching by Aaron Mates) - Class will be held on the following dates:
Friday and Saturday 8/20 and 8/21/10 - MSTM 1935 Lakeland, Jackson, MS
Wednesday and Thursday 11/3 and 11/4/10 from 10:00-5:00 both days - Germantown/Memphis, TN
Learn the importance of stretching and muscle flexibility as well as the Basics of AIS. Participants do stretches for the lower body on themselves individually as well as practice on each other.
ACUPRESSURE-NECK AND SHOULDERS:

TN LAW:
TN Law is a 2-hour CE courses approved by both the TN Board and the NCBTMB and is a mandatory class for all TN LMTs. All TN LMTs MUST take this course during each CE cycle (currently is during the time frame 1-1-2009 thrugh 12-13-2010) - Cost is $50 - ETHICS COURSES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH HOME STUDY FOR $30 EACH. Costs of Workshops
